Porto Fashion Week – All Eyes Are on the Future

The 6th edition of Porto Fashion Week is back from 27 September to 3 October and all eyes are on the future.

Various events will be part of this week of fashion that brings together tradition and innovation, thinking of the past to project the future:  

46 MODtissimo – 30 September and 1 October

The 46th edition of MODtissimo which will take place on 30 September and 1 October in the Porto Customs Building is the family reunion of Portuguese textile. During the two days the following collections will be presented: Cloth and accessories for the garment industry; brands of clothing and private label garment making, Men, Women, Children and Lingerie. There will also be a very complete parallel programme of seminars, conference and presentation of trends.

6 iTechstyle Innovation Business Forum - 30 September and 1 October

The 6th edition of the iTechStyle Innovation Business Forum organised by CITEVE will once again be a showcase for technicality and innovation in the national textile and clothing sector! The great novelties will be presented in various areas: Forum of Technical and Innovative Textiles, Showcase of Products, Showcase of Projects /Concepts and Tertulia. Also announced at the edition will be the winners of the Inovatêxtil 2015 Award.

Porto Fashion Film Festival – 3 October- CEIIA Centre for Excellence and Innovation in the Automobile Industry.

Fashion is synonymous with anticipation, vanguard, innovation. It is based on these premises that the unique Portuguese Fashion Film Festival is presented for a second edition which has as its great novelty a new award category dedicated exclusively to Technical Textiles, an area where Portugal occupies one of the top spots on the world level in terms of innovation.

Fashion People – 2nd edition

Porto is in Fashion and Fashion is in Porto. It is based on this concept that Selectiva Moda, promoter of Porto Fashion Week (PFW), launches the challenge to professional and amateur photographers to capture the trends of a city in vogue.

Fashion District

Fashion District brings together the 25 most trendy stores in the city of Porto. This innovative concept, which was already “imported” for the Porto week of fashion in the last editions, allowed the shopkeepers of the city to associate themselves with Porto Fashion Week and promote their spaces.

International Fashion Business Congress – 29 September to 1 October

The CINM is organised by I-Moda (Institute for the Study and Development of Fashion) and carried out by IBModa (Brazilian Fashion Institute), a company specialising in training and consulting for Brazilian and International companies, a benchmark in education, consulting and research in the area of Design and Fashion Businesses. The main objective of the event is to promote relevant and enlightening discussions on the market of Design and Fashion.
